Welcome to the West Volusia Wolves Football and Cheer Youth Organization
The West Volusia Wolves Football and Cheer Youth Organization is a non-profit organization that provides youth football and cheer programs for participants in and around the West Volusia area. We are devoted to fair play and sportsmanship. Our number one priority is that players who choose to play in our league enjoy their experience and create lasting, positive memories. The West Volusia Wolves Football and Cheer Youth Organization seeks to provide fun athletic learning opportunities for children, while emphasizing the importance of academic success. Specifically, we seek to familiarize players and spirit participants with the fundamentals of football, and cheer leading. The West Volusia Wolves Football and Cheer Youth Organization strives to inspire youth, regardless of race, creed or national origin, to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship and physical fitness. Developing, informing, training, and educating student athletes and coaches are indispensable elements to the success of our organization.
The West Volusia Wolves Football Organization stresses EDUCATION in our young athletes. Before our young men and women are athletes, they are students. We hold high expectations of our players in school and on the field. We believe, if our athletes excel academically, they will excel fundamentally on the field. We build athletes. Our goal is to shape the lives of our young men and women and show them by example how to grow into respectful, productive leaders and role models within their schools, their neighborhoods and most of all, their FAMILY. We believe that is how character is gained! No one is perfect and we each make mistakes. We believe that it is our job as mentors, coaches and parents to help our athletes identify their mistakes, devise a solution, and effectively apply that solution to rectify the situation. We firmly believe in instilling these core values and problem-solving skills in our young athletes as these traits will be utilized in every aspect of their lives.
